Somewhere Other Then New Jersey

So I know I haven’t written in a long time, but I’m back! As I sit at work, staring outside at the snow, I can’t stop wishing I was back in Florida!

One of my all time favorite vacations is to Disney World and Universal Studios. Surprisingly, it is not as expensive as one would think and you get to enjoy the sun and have a ton of fun.

Here are some helpful hints and tips to getting the most out of your next florida tip.

This time we decided to stay on site at the parks and let me tell you The Royal Pacific was one of my favorite resorts! They offer express passes and early access to the parks when you stay at the resort, which was convenient! The theme of the hotel was tropical and it was executed perfectly. You get lei’d more than once at this hotel and each time is equally exciting -get your heads out of the gutter-!

From the moment youstep  out of the car service to the last walk through the hallway as you are checking out, you do not feel like you are in Orlando, Florida, but rather that you are on an island.

The express pass (when free) is so worth it!!! It got us through the lines fast, allowing us to wait for the important rides….. like Harry Potter, duh!

Some of my favorite restaurants inside the park are Emeril’s OrlandoThe Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar and The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. Two of my favorites outside the park are STK & Brick House Tavern + Tap. If you want to know more about these restaurants and why I suggest them, leave comments and I’ll make another post. 🖤

Disney springs is a must see, especially around Christmas Time. Some Christmas music, hot chocolate and a box of sprinkles cupcakes is a perfect, relaxing and budget friendly Disney date. Disney springs is free to walk around and offers a plethora of shopping, dinning and entertainment options. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the Cirque Du Soleil show, La Nouba, and watching Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the AMC Dine-In theatre.

Some musts are Butter Beer, Mickey Mouse waffles, the Fireworks Dessert Party and a ride (or five) on the Gringott’s Escape!

The dessert party was one of my favorites and well worth the price, especially since we got free theme park tickets! We were treated to a dessert buffet and escorted outside just in time to watch the fireworks in a non-crowded, blocked off area.

Orlando does not have to cost a fortune, there are ways to save like packing lunch and bringing it to the parks, filling up water bottles with free water, using traveling sites to book hotels, uber-ing rather than renting a car, and purchasing tickets through discount cites like AAA Membership Discounts or Visit Orlando.

Another post will be up later today, keep an 👀 out!!
